Secure your bank account

Today I got a mail from acct.admin@icicibank.com to secure my account. I know ICICI bank does not send such mail. As I am working in internet technologies, so I know it is fraud mail, so wanted to check how are they doing the fraud. Oh it took me to a site which looks like icici and asked me for all the details such as my user id, password, ATM pin, transaction pin etc. I entered all the details (of course none are correct). Then it to took me to a grid where it takes value of each grid from A-P as does by ICICI I did entered all the values (again random and none are correct), then it gave me a thank you message and redirected to ICICI bank.

So checking for domain name of mail id is not enough, and one can send mail from another domain with a domain name that does not belong to her. And ICICI bank does provide different layers of security beyond single password, and the hacker tries to get all the details. While going through details i tried clicking on the links provided by the hacker, it does go to ICICI's corresponding link (though no way to comeback to hacker's site from the ICICI site).

So be aware of such mails and do not eneter any details and do not compermise your account details.
